Counselling & Coaching

Parenting is one of the toughest and most selfless jobs. Parents need to be patient and devote a lot of time to ensuring that their children develop life skills and healthy behaviours. This can more often than not be overwhelming and can render parents helpless, which takes a toll on their mental health.

The main goal of the sessions is to help you enhance and strengthen your relationship with your child and tackle some of the most common parenting concerns and bust some common and age-old myths of parenting like:

  • Parenting, especially motherhood, is intuitive and comes naturally.

  • Couples always have to agree on parenting and should have the same parenting styles.

  • Mothers and children form an instant bond.

  • Parents are supposed to be emotionless and ignorant of their mental, emotional and psychological needs and concerns.

  • Parents should be available for their children at all times regardless of their own lives.

  • Childbirth should be cherished in all its entirety.

Areas of problem in children:

  • Hyperactivity

  • Difficulty in paying attention

  • Lack of social skills

  • Poor academic performance

  • Unmanageable sibling rivalry

  • Excessive tantrums or stubbornness

  • Defiant behaviour

  • Habits like cheating, lying or stealing

  • Aggressive or violent attitude

  • Poor eating habits

  • Substance abuse

  • Addiction to gadgets

So, how do you decide if you need parent counselling and coaching?
